Hotels in the Knoxville Area

Knoxville, Tennessee, offers scenic views of the Great Smoky Mountains and sits among hills along the north bank of the Tennessee River. Knoxville provides a selection of hotels, many less than 10 miles from downtown. Visitors have the option of lodging in historic neighborhoods or near popular attractions like the Knoxville Zoological Gardens or the University of Tennessee. Knoxville features historic buildings dating back to the 1800s such as the Old Knox County Courthouse in downtown.

North Knoxville

Historic Old North Knoxville features homes from the late 19th and early 20th century. Between the 1880s and the 1940s, it served as a streetcar thoroughfare.
