Ireland is a great destination for families, filled with castles, legends of leprechauns, and friendly people ready to make all ages feel welcome. Like most countries in Europe, Ireland has a good selection of hotels with kids clubs to keep children entertained while their parents take advantage of more mature pursuits like a round of golf or a hot stone massage. The clubs are also a great way for kids to make new friends and take home not only memories and souvenirs but perhaps a pen pal as well.
