Once a tiny coastal community near Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California has burgeoned into a city of nearly 200,000 that draws visitors year round to its beaches. Enjoy the festive activities, concerts and events that take place in and around the Oceanside Pier, explore the city’s happening arts scene at the Oceanside Museum of Art or relax surfside at one of the city’s beaches, such as Harbor Beach and Breakwater Way.
