Scottsdale, Arizona, earned the nickname “a desert version of Miami’s South Beach” since a 2008 article in the New York Times. The city features vibrant nightlife and numerous fine dining establishments. Hotels with full kitchens, though, accommodate visitors who want to prepare meals at home, saving money otherwise spent eating out. These hotels provide nightly, weekly and monthly rates. Properties with full kitchens range from small chain hotels to palatial luxury resorts.

Extended Stay America

Extended Stay America has three properties in Scottsdale -- Extended Stay America-Phoenix-Scottsdale, Homestead Studio Suites-Phoenix-Scottsdale and Extended Stay Deluxe-Phoenix-Scottsdale. Rooms at all properties have fully equipped kitchens with dining and cooking utensils. Only Extended Stay Deluxe-Phoenix-Scottsdale has rooms with dishwashers. Recreational facilities include a heated outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center.

Resorts with Kitchens

Sheraton Desert Oasis Villas boasts breathtaking views of the saguaros dotting the Sonoran Desert. The hotel features southwestern architecture in neutral colors surrounded by palm plants. Its villas have fully equipped kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms with sofa beds and wireless Internet access. Hotel amenities include tour assistance, car rentals and 24-hour front desk. On-site recreation includes a game room, children’s playground, swimming pool and fitness center. Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas, a AAA four-diamond resort, overlooks Camelback Mountain and is within walking distance of downtown shops. Its two-bedroom villa has full kitchens with cooking and dining utensils, dining areas and living rooms. Living rooms feature 42-inch flat-screen plasma televisions, wood-burning fireplaces and sofa beds. Hotel amenities include room service, an on-site convenience store and concierge service.
