Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is home to Port Everglades, one of the world's busiest cruise ports, serving more than 3 million passengers each year, according to the website Cruisecritic. To serve that demand, Fort Lauderdale has many hotels and resorts located near the port, which is just 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. If you're cruising from Port Everglades, you may want to consider hotels located within two miles of the cruise terminals.
