Times Square houses an abundance of theaters, historic destinations and restaurants in the heart of Manhattan. The streets that cut through Times Square are lined with video screens and billboards celebrating the neighborhood’s commercial roots. This famed district is also known for the annual New Year’s Eve celebration broadcast throughout the United States. Hotels in the Times Square area attract travelers from around the world with a variety of amenities and features.

Boutique Hotels

Boutique hotels within Times Square welcome guests with unique amenities. Guests at the Royalton New York pass through a softly lit lobby and stylish corridors before check-in. This boutique property outfits guest rooms with platform beds and tablet computers. The hotel also houses Forty Four, a restaurant and bar in the lobby serving light dishes. Each room at the Night Hotel encourages relaxation with natural lighting, stereo systems and overstuffed chairs. Travelers are able to sit down for dinner and cocktails at Nightlife Restaurant before shows near Times Square.

Luxury Hotels

Times Square caters to the upscale tastes of travelers with a plethora of luxury hotels. City Club Hotel sets the mood for out-of-towners with framed theater posters and photos of Manhattan throughout the property. Guest rooms feature libraries as well as CD and DVD catalogs to keep travelers entertained away from Times Square attractions. The Chatwal allows guests to settle down after touring the Big Apple with room amenities like outdoor patios and board games. This luxury hotel keeps travelers on property with massages at the Chatwal Spa by Kashwere and dining at the Lambs Club Restaurant.

Historic Hotels

The rich history of Times Square is reflected in the neighborhood’s historic hotels. Hotel Edison was built in 1931 with exterior features to match nearby Radio City Music Hall. Travelers work with the front desk to arrange tour reservations for Manhattan attractions. The Edison Ballroom on the first floor attracts guests with fine dining and big band music. Warwick New York Hotel maintains lounge decor selected by publisher and owner William Randolph Hearst in 1926.
