Hotels Close to the Newark Airport

Newark Liberty International Airport lies 14 miles west of downtown Manhattan, providing visitors with an alternative port of entry to the greater-New York City area. To cut down on travel time and avoid traffic, consider staying at a hotel near the airport. These hotels provide traveler-friendly services and amenities that ease the stress of arrival and departure. The area might not be as glamorous as Manhattan, but the headaches it can save you make it worthwhile.

Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott

The Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott is on airport property, just a few minutes from the terminals via the complimentary 24-hour shuttle. The hotel's 585 guest rooms have a contemporary, upscale design and feature large, soundproof windows that give the rooms a light and airy ambiance. Guests have access to the hotel's indoor pool, seasonal outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness center. On-site dining options include two Italian restaurants, an American restaurant and a steakhouse. The dark wood lobby with leather furniture and flat-screen TV creates a comfortable atmosphere where guests can relax and socialize. Guest rooms have a casual sophistication and feature wireless Internet, large flat-screen TVs and double-glazed windows. The on-site restaurant serves continental cuisine. The lounge bar utilizes a natural, dark wood feel to create a comfortable atmosphere for enjoying drinks and watching the game. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to cover the two miles between the hotel and the terminals.
