Hotels Close to the Cincinnati Zoo in Ohio

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, which first opened its doors to the public in 1875, draws over one million visitors every year. This world-class zoo holds more than 500 animal and 3,000 plant species, making it one of the largest collections in the world. Given its close proximity to downtown, there are several hotels that are located within a three-mile radius of the zoo.

Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center Cincinnati

The Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center Cincinnati is located less than a mile from the Cincinnati Zoo on the grounds of the University of Cincinnati. Dining options at the hotel include the casual Bearcat Lounge, which is only open for dinner and Caminetto, which offers Italian-American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel amenities include a fitness center with a dry sauna and free high-speed Internet access in all rooms. Accommodations include standard rooms with either one king bed or two double beds and larger suite rooms that feature separate living rooms.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cincinnati

Though there are no on-site restaurants, several restaurants are located near the hotel, including P. F. Chang's and Bob Evans. In addition to the sleeping area, each room has a desk/work area and a small refrigerator, kitchen sink and microwave.

The Cincinnatian Hotel is three miles from the Cincinnati Zoo. This upscale boutique property in the heart of downtown Cincinnati is a Mobil Four Star and AAA- Four Diamond award winner. On-site dining options include fine dining at The Palace and more casual fare at the Cricket Lounge Bistro. Hotel amenities include a fitness center, and free high-speed Internet access and DVD players in all rooms. Accommodations range from small rooms with queen-sized beds suitable for business travelers to multi-room luxury suites.
