Located in the Meadowlands section of New Jersey’s Bergen County and roughly 10 miles from midtown Manhattan, the city of North Arlington has a population of about 15,000. Because the city is close to the Meadowlands Sports Complex, a major sports and entertainment venue, visitors may wish to stay in the area. While North Arlington has no hotels of its own, four national chain hotels offer quality accommodations within four miles of the city.

Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel

Part of the Marriott family of hotel brands, this nine-story, 163-unit hotel puts guests within easy driving distance of North Arlington, only 2.8 miles away, as well as the Meadowlands Sports Complex and Newark Airport, which lies roughly 11 miles to the south. Accommodations include spacious guest rooms throughout, but Club Level rooms feature added amenities and access to a high-floor lounge that provides striking views of the New York City skyline. Hotel facilities include a full-service business center, fitness center and indoor swimming pool. CK’s Steakhouse, the on-site restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Courtyard Lyndhurst Meadowlands

This six-story, 227-unit hotel, just 2.9 miles from North Arlington, offers travelers a convenient base for exploring nearby New York City and the New Jersey suburbs that surround the hotel. It’s also a smart choice for visitors who are in town to attend an event at the Meadowlands complex. All guest rooms feature spacious desk/work areas with ergonomic chairs, high-speed Internet and compact refrigerators. Recreational facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool and fitness center. The hotel’s Courtyard Cafe serves a hot breakfast buffet and also has a limited menu available at dinnertime.

Quality Inn Meadowlands

A short drive from North Arlington, this 143-unit hotel is a smart choice for business and leisure travelers, given its convenient location close to Manhattan and the many sports and entertainment events held at the Meadowlands. If you’re not particularly interested in concerts or football, you might want to see if there’s a horse race scheduled at Meadowlands Racetrack. Hotel facilities include a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and game room. The on-site Harold’s New York Deli serves lunch, dinner and cocktails. Nearby restaurants include Houlihan’s, IHOP and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

Hampton Inn & Suites Newark Riverwalk

Located in Harrison and not far from downtown Newark, this six-story, 165-unit hotel is less than four miles from North Arlington. Newark is a major transportation hub, making this hotel a smart choice for those who are not renting a car. Using the city’s network of air, bus and rail connections, travelers can make arrangements to travel to a neighboring city or around the world. Hotel facilities and services include business and fitness centers, indoor heated swimming pool, cocktail lounge off the lobby and a convenience store.
