A handful of companies offer service in the area, with the pricing and types of service packages offered varying from company to company.

Cox

Internet and cable television provider Cox Santa Ana offers three high-speed Internet packages for Santa Ana residents, all of which come with free antivirus software. The least expensive is the Value High-Speed Internet package, which comes with the ability to download items at a speed of up to 1.5 Mbps. As of the time of publication, this package had a $19.95 per month introductory rate, after which the price increases to $35.99 a month. The medium speed package is Preferred High-Speed Internet, which offers the ability to download at a rate of 7 Mbps. As of the time of publication, the introductory rate is $29.95 per month for the first three months; the regular rate afterward is $49.99 monthly. The fastest package is the Premier High-Speed Internet, which gives customers a download speed of up to 12 Mbps for $64.99 per month as of the time of publication.

Verizon

Verizon has two high-speed Internet options for customers in Santa Ana. One package includes a download speed of up to 1 Mbps and upload speeds of as much as 384 Kbps. As of the time of publication, the package starts at $19.99 per month, and the price is good for two years if you sign a 24-month service agreement. The other option is a package that comes with download speeds of up to 7.1 Mbps and 768 Kbps for uploads. The cost is $39.99 per month for two years with a signed 24-month service agreement.

AT&T;

AT&T; offers four types of high-speed Internet service in Santa Ana.
