While Apple would rather you didn't jailbreak your iOS device, US Congress has deemed jailbreaking legal, so users can pretty much do whatever they want with their phone. Cydia, one of the most popular app stores for jailbreakers, includes a Gameboy Advance emulator called GpsPhone. Using GpsPhone, users can play ROMs of Gameboy Advance games directly on their iPod Touch or other iOS device.

Jailbreak The iPod Touch

Step 1

Download the Greenpois0n application from Greenpois0n.com. Connect your iPod to your computer via the sync cable and turn off the device. Open the application, and select "Run as Administrator."

Step 2

Hold your iPod's power button as you click "Prepare to Jailbreak." Wait for the countdown, and hold the iPod's home button simultaneously. Let go of the power button and only hold the home button for the last countdown. Click "Jailbreak."

Step 3

Click the "Loader" app on your iPod. Select "Cydia" and download the application to your device.

Install The Emulator

Step 1

Open the Cydia application, and add the sources http://repo.beyouriphone.com/ and http://apt.123locker.com/.

Step 2

Search for "GPS" in Cydia's search bar.

Step 3

Download "GpsPhone+Bios."
