Finding a fun place to have a 14th birthday party in the state of Delaware does not have to be a challenge. While the state may be small in size, numerous locations offering fun activities are available for teenagers celebrating birthdays. Many of these places include special group discounts and birthday party specials.

Killens Pond Water Park

Killens Pond Water Park ( is part of Killens Pond State Park in Felton, and is a great summer location for teenagers looking to have some fun in the water. The park includes two water slides which are 27-feet high and 205-feet long, with plenty of twists and turns. Other attractions at the water park include a main pool and a sand court, where beach volleyball can be played. Picnic tables and food concessions are available for those wanting to relax and eat. While the park does not appear to offer specials for birthday parties, it accommodates groups of more than 15 people, with reservations made two weeks in advance.

Brunswick Blue Hen Lanes

Brunswick Blue Hen Lanes ( is a bowling alley in Newark. While bowling is the main attraction at Brunswick Blue Hen Lanes, billiards and video games are also offered, as are food and beverages. MAGP is the first of its kind in the state of Delaware and provides accommodations for parties. Along with either a two or three race package, the birthday party special at MAGP includes racing gear, pizza, soda, a special decorated party room and more. The facility is 36,000 square feet and is open year-round.

Captain Jack's Pirate Golf

Captain Jack's Pirate Golf ( is a miniature golf course located in Bethany Beach. As the name suggests, the mini golf course features a pirate theme, including water hazards, a talking pirate, a 50 foot pirate ship and more. The establishment is open daily and includes a gift shop for those wishing to purchase souvenirs. Captain Jack's accommodates for birthday parties and asks to be contacted regarding specials and group discounts.
