Fall Festivals in and around Hanahan

Arts and Crafts Festivals
In September/October there is the Major Arts Festival in Charleston, South Carolina featuring a celebration of African American and Caribbean arts that consist of performances of Jazz, R&B, classical and gospel music, live theater performances, dance performances, educational workshops and talks with literary authors.
Latin American Festival
South Carolina has long celebrated diversity and in Fall the Latin American festival held in Wannamaker County Park celebrates the diversity of Latin America. At the Latin American Festival there is Salsa dances and Merengue Music fills the air. Try the Latin American food or enjoy the arts and crafts, you will find something for everyone at the Latin American Festival.
Jubilee Festival of Heritage
If you are looking for something more historical, the Jubilee Festival of Heritage offers a variety of events and programs that celebrate the history of Cecil Mann, a slave that won her freedom, and the contributions she made. The Jubilee Festival of Heritage is held at the old Mann-Simons Cottage in Columbia South Carolina where Cecil and her descendants lived until 1970.
