Headquartered in North Palm Beach, Florida, Driftwood Hospitality Management operates and manages hotels across North America. In 2010, the organization boasted a portfolio of 21 hotels totaling nearly 5,000 rooms. In addition, the Driftwood portfolio encompasses many nationally known hotel franchises, including Carlson, Hilton, Intercontinental, Marriott, Starwood and Wyndham. The Holiday Inn-Phoenix West is the only property the corporation operates in Phoenix.

The Holiday Inn-Phoenix West is conveniently situated near I-10. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Downtown Phoenix are just a quick drive away. The hotel boasts a full-service 24-hour business center, a fitness room complete with weight training and cardiovascular equipment and a whirlpool. Guests may also enjoy a swim in the facility’s outdoor pool. High-speed Internet access is provided at no additional charge, and the hotel offers same-day cleaning with pickup and delivery service. In addition, children eat free at both on-site dining sites.

Comprising standard guestrooms, executive club level rooms and suites, the Holiday Inn-Phoenix West offers standard hotel amenities, such as complementary daily newspaper delivery, to each guest. Executive club level rooms are an upgrade from standard guestrooms and are outfitted with sofa beds and windows that can be opened. Suites boast separate living rooms with sofa beds, dining tables and microwave ovens.

Guests of the Holiday Inn-Phoenix West have their choice of two on-site dining establishments. The Coyote Grill Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. Located in the lobby, the grill offers Southwestern cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Chef specials are offered nightly. Alternatively, the Pit Stop Bar and Grill is a comfortable sports bar that boasts a pool table, jukebox and three televisions, including a big screen, equipped with DirecTV. The menu is heavy on beer and bar food.

The Holiday Inn-Phoenix West is equipped to host meetings in its nearly 3,000 square feet of event space. In addition, the ground-floor Cactus Room totals almost 800 square feet and can accommodate small events for up to 50 people. Audiovisual equipment such as projectors, microphones and flip charts are available for rent. The hotel also offers catering. Businesses hosting events in the Cactus Room may choose from four different menus, either table or buffet service.
