There are eight Disney properties with deluxe studio and multi-bedroom villas. The Old Key West Resort near Downtown Disney replicates the laid-back resorts in the Florida Keys, and the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa has an equestrian theme. Disney’s Animal Kingdom has two African lodge-style resorts, Jambo House and Kidani Village, situated on a 38-acre preserve with more than 30 species of wildlife. The waterfront Beach Club and Boardwalk Villas near Epcot were constructed in a mid-Atlantic-style architecture reminiscent of 1940s Atlantic City. Near the Magic Kingdom, the Wilderness Lodge was modeled to resemble Pacific Northwest architecture, and the recently built Bay Lake Tower offers picturesque views of the Walt Disney World Resort.

Man-made Crescent Lake in the Epcot area separates the Michael Graves-designed Dolphin and Swan Resorts, named for their towering animal statues.The property has 17 restaurants and lounges including Shula's Steak House, Kimonos, bluezoo by Todd English and Il Mulino New York Trattoria. The property has five pools, a Balinese-themed spa, jogging trails, fitness centers and a beach.
Deluxe Resort Hotels
The Animal Kingdom Lodge neighbors and shares amenities with the African-style deluxe villas. There are three deluxe hotel options near Epcot: The lakeside Martha’s Vineyard-inspired Yacht Club Resort and the Beach Club and Boardwalk properties. Guests staying in the Contemporary Resort can walk to the Magic Kingdom theme park. Other options in the Magic Kingdom area include the Victorian-style Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the Wilderness Lodge and South Pacific-themed Polynesian Resort.

The Coronado Springs Resort near the Animal Kingdom is designed in Mexican Spanish-colonial style and nestled on 22 acres. The Port Orleans Resort near Downtown Disney takes guests on a trip to two famous Louisiana locales -- New Orleans at the French Quarter resort and the rural "old bayou" at the Riverside resort. The Caribbean Beach Resort on the 45-acre Barefoot Bay near Epcot features tropical-themed pink structures along a sandy coast.
Value Resort Hotels
There are nearly 5,500 value-priced Disney hotel rooms in the Animal Kingdom area at the All-Star Movies, Music and Sports resorts. In the ESPN Wide World of Sports area, Disney salutes 20th-century pop culture at the Pop Century resort.
Fort Wilderness near the Magic Kingdom is situated on 750 acres, populated with pine and cypress trees and free-roaming ducks, deer and rabbits. Fort Wilderness was one of the resort’s first properties, built in 1971. Cabins and four different types of campsites can accommodate parties of up to 10 guests, tents and vehicles 45 feet and longer. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available in the cabins.
