"Deceptacon" is a song by LeTigre, performed in an upbeat disco-punk style, and the subject of a popular remix by DFA on the Le Tigre Remix EP. The music video for the song features two male dancers in brown jumpsuits, grey gloves, misshapen helmets made of tape, bright red shoes and sunglasses. The dancers are Miguel Gutierrez and Howie Rigberg. Gutierrez choreographed the dance and named it "Aerobicon." The dance is stylistically similar to an aerobic workout dance.

Step 1

Jump up and down in time to the beat on the balls of your feet as the guitar intro starts. Keep your hands by your side.

Step 2

Scissor your hands up and down with the first four hand claps during the intro.

Step 3

Move each fist up alternately with the beat while you continue to jump.

Step 4

Scissor your legs continuously when the keyboard starts. On the first beat, jump and move your right foot forward, jump and move it back on the second beat, jump and move your left foot forward on the third beat, jump back to the starting position on the fourth beat. Improvise by moving your feet back and forth to the left while moving your body farther to the left on each jump. Turn your feet back and forth to the right while jumping farther to the right. Do this during the keyboard solo.

Step 5

Mime like you are running when the vocals start. This is similar to the "running man" dance move from the 1980s. Run in a square in time with the music, angling your head to the left and right as you go.

Step 6

Do the twist for two bars once you hear the words "wanna disco" for the second time.

Step 7

Pump your arms and knees up and down along with the words "one, two, three, four." Lift one leg up so that the thigh is parallel and the knee is bent. Lift your arms above your head. Bring the arms down while bringing the knee down, then lift the arms back up while lifting the other knee. You should look like you are lifting a barbell up and down.

Step 8

Salute with your right hand and turn to the right in profile. Do not stop jumping to the beat. Pump your arms back and forth with the beat, first moving your arms in front of your body and then extending them behind you.

Step 9

Face the front again and tilt your head left and right to the beat when you hear "all right, all right."

Step 10

Return to basic jumping with hands at your side when the guitar solo starts.

Step 11

Turn to profile again when the vocals restart. Punch your right hand out parallel to your body at a 90-degree angle. Bring your arm back in a flexing pose after each pump.

Step 12

Face forward and hold your hands up, swaying back and forth with the words "you want what you want." Return to punching in profile. Repeat one bar before the guitar solo.

Step 13

Scissor your arms and legs when the guitar solo starts. Move the right arm with the right leg and the left arm with the left leg.

Step 14

Hop back and forth on the right leg while kicking out with the left leg for the first two bars of the chorus.Turn in a profile, hop back to your previous position with your arms bent and at your chest. Repeat for the next four bars.

Step 15

Improvise with aerobic, boxing and swimming style dance moves while jumping up and down.

Step 16

Hop back and forth on the right leg while kicking out with the left leg for the first two bars of the chorus.Turn in a profile, hop back to your previous position with your arms bent and at your chest. Repeat for the next four bars.

Step 17

Look at your watch and wave goodbye to the words "see you later."

Step 18

Fall to the floor at the end of the song.
