Dallas is located near the northwestern area of Texas and is home to the Dallas Cowboy's football stadium and the Dallas Mavericks home basketball stadium, the American Airlines Arena. Surrounding areas include Grapevine, which is situated near the DFW International Airport, and Mesquite, which provides the Mesquite Rodeo. Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Irving and Mesquite, Texas, are all within 30 miles of downtown Dallas.

Grand Prairie Hotels

The two-story Quality Inn and Suites in Grand Prairie, Texas, is approximately 19 miles from downtown Dallas and only four miles from the Cowboy's football stadium. The 50 rooms provide free Internet access and kitchenettes; some rooms also provide whirlpool bathtubs. Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a complimentary breakfast and laundry facilities. As of November 2010, the hotel offers a gift card when staying in the hotel for three nights. An 18 mile drive from Dallas, the Super 8 Grand Prairie hotel features a complimentary breakfast and a complimentary airport shuttle service to the DFW International Airport. The pet-friendly rooms offer kitchenettes and free Internet access. The Dallas Zoo, Dallas Aquarium and the 6th Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza are all less than 25 miles away.

Grapevine Hotels

Less than 20 miles from the American Airlines Center and Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, the Embassy Suites Dallas is located in Grapevine, Texas, and is only a 10-minute-drive from the DFW International Airport. The suite-style rooms include private balconies, kitchenettes, separate living areas and Internet access. The hotel provides a swimming pool, serves a complimentary breakfast and offers business services. A Bass Pro Shop is located next to the property. The Holiday Inn DFW Grapevine is approximately three miles from the airport and 17 miles from downtown Dallas. The hotel features free Internet access, a health center with cardiovascular equipment, and an outdoor swimming pool. The smoke-free rooms provide satellite TVs, stereo systems and free newspapers. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast. The Grapevine Mills Mall, which contains a Rainforest Cafe, JCrew and Ann Taylor Factory Store, is only three miles from the hotel.

Irving Hotels

The Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas is 15 miles from Dallas and a 20-minute-drive from the Dallas Museum of Art and the Dallas World Aquarium. The hotel provides an on-site spa with an outdoor pool, salon services and therapy treatments. The 431 tan and blue hued rooms contain deep soaking bathtubs, iPod docks, seating areas and Internet access. The property features four pools, a children's camp, and fitness classes including spinning and Pilates. The Homewood Suites Dallas is located in Irving, Texas, only 11 miles from downtown Dallas. The one- or two-bedroom rooms include full kitchens, Internet access and iPod docks. The hotel provides a convenience store and outdoor swimming pool and serves a daily breakfast buffet. Pets, 25 lbs. or less, are allowed in guest rooms for a fee. The Dallas Convention Center and the American Airlines Arena are less than 13 miles from the hotel.

Mesquite Hotels

The Hampton Inn and Suites Dallas is 11 miles from Dallas. The 160 rooms provide down pillows, free Internet access and weekly newspapers. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast and offers an outdoor swimming pool and fitness center. The hotel is only five miles from the Town East Mall and six miles from the Cotton Bowl football stadium. The two-story Comfort Suites is 10 miles from Dallas and less than eight miles from area attractions such as the Texas State Fair and the Mesquite Rodeo. The 58 non-smoking guest rooms contain complimentary Internet access, DVD players and kitchenettes; suites also offer whirlpool bathtubs. The hotel provides an outdoor pool and a hot tub and prepares a complimentary breakfast.
