How to Customize Ben 10 Invitations

by Christi Aldridge

"Ben 10" is a television show that is broadcast on Cartoon Network. It follows the adventures of a boy named Ben who wears a wristband called the Omnitrix. The Omnitrix allows him to change forms and turn into many different alien creatures to fight villains and save the planet. Start a Ben 10 birthday party off right with some homemade invitations.

Items you will need

  • Black card stock
  • Neon green card stock
  • Small cup or plate
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Ben 10 photos for reference
  • Glitter pens
  • Omnitrix wristbands
Step 1

Create Ben's Omnitrix out of black and green card stock for the front of the invitation. Turn a cup over on the black card stock for a template, or use a small plate, depending on how big you want the invitation to be. Use a pencil to trace the shape of the circle on to the black card stock. Cut it out with scissors.

Step 2

Draw the center of the Omnitrix. Look at photos of Ben 10 or toys if your child has some lying around. The center of the Omnitric looks like a sharply drawn hourglass, or two triangles with the top points meeting together. Draw the hourglass on to the neon green card stock and cut it out. The hourglass should be a little bit smaller so there is a black border around it.

Step 3

Glue the neon green hourglass shape to the black circle shape. Customize each Omnitrix by writing a different alien's name on it so each party guest can be a different alien. Some of the aliens Ben turns into are Upgrade, Spider Monkey, Heatblast and Cannonbolt.

Step 4

Write the party details on the back of the Omnitrix. Since the card stock is black, use neon-colored glitter or gel pens so the information will show up. Ben's signature phrase on the show is "It's Hero Time!" Start the invitation with that phrase, then use wording like, "Come help us catch some aliens at a Ben 10 birthday party." Finish by putting the date, time and location of the party.

Step 5

Add your phone number or email address for guests to RSVP. Inject some humor into your invites by using wording like, "Ultimate Humungosaur wants to know if you'll be coming to help him save the world."

Step 6

Get guests in the mood for some Ben 10 fun by including an Omnitrix wristband with each of the invitations. These can be purchased at a party shop or online.
