Let's face it: toilet paper is not the most glamorous household object. Still, this bathroom necessity can be jazzed up and given a special Halloween look. With a little guidance from an adult, even children can transform a roll of toilet paper into an adorable pumpkin that adds some festive charm to the bathroom, or even other rooms in the house.

Items you will need

  • Roll of toilet paper
  • Orange fabric, 18 by 22 inches
  • Brown paper lunch bag
  • Green pipe cleaner
  • Green felt
  • Glue
Step 1

Place the roll of toilet paper in the center of the fabric. Gather the fabric up over the sides of the roll, and tuck it into the roll's top hole.

Step 2

Make the stem. Roll up a piece of the lunch bag, then glue it closed.

Step 3

Create a vine and leaf. Wrap the pipe cleaner around the stem. Cut a leaf-shape out of the felt and glue it to the pipe cleaner.

Step 4

Stick the stem into the hole at the top of the toilet paper pumpkin.
