After spending a day at Disneyland, adults might want to hit the freeways and venture into Los Angeles County for some thrills and nightlife at an area casino. WIthin a 30-mile radius of Disneyland's location in Anaheim, California, gamblers and the casual players will find spots for card games of their choice. Head to one of the Los Angeles area's casinos and gaming rooms and take your chance.

Bicycle Casino

The Bicycle Casino, in Bell Gardens, is also known as the Bicycle Club (thebike.com). The casino houses one of the largest poker rooms in the country and offers a selection of poker, blackjack and Asian card games and a wide range of betting limits. The smoke-free poker room has more than 100,000 square feet of space and features 175 tables. Players can join tournaments in the Bicycle Casino Event Center. Dining options include the Jade Dragon and the Bike Deli, in addition to table-side service.

Commerce Casino

Commerce Casino (commercecasino.com) holds the title of "Poker Capital of the World." With 243 tables, the casino houses more gaming tables than any other card room on land in the world. The casino offers a variety of games and full range of limits for all players, regardless of skill levels. Favorites include Hold'em, No Limit Poker, 7-Card Stud, Omaha and Lowball. The Commerce Casino also features an on-site hotel and three restaurants.

Hustler Casino

Hustler Magazine founder Larry Flynt opened his Hustler Casino (hustlercasinola.com) in 2000 in Gardena. The casino offers some of the largest progressive poker jackpots in the state. The casino features 50 poker tables and specializes in classic card games like Texas Hold'em and Blackjack, as well as California games like Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker. The Blackjack Lounge restaurant offers American and Asian fare, as well as fresh pastas, pizzas and salads. The casino is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Normandie Casino

The Western Club opened in Gardena in 1940 and was renamed the Normandie Casino (normandiecasino.com) in 1947. The family-owned casino is open 24/7 and features classic games like blackjack and poker. The casino has its own restaurant, sports bar and snack shop. The Normandie Casino Showroom features live entertainment, including comedians, magicians, sporting events and musical performances by both local and national performers from all genres.
