Woodbury, New Jersey, is the county seat of Gloucester County and is only seven miles from Philadelphia. It boasts 137 acres of parks and recreational facilities and is the county's public transportation hub. Woodbury is a family-oriented town that holds activities for residents and visitors alike throughout the year. Among these activities are car shows, weekly cruise nights and a motorcycle cruise night scheduled due to popular demand.

    All Mustang Car Show

On Route 45, at the Ace Ford in Woodbury, you are welcome to attend the All Mustang Car Show sponsored by the South Jersey Mustang Club. The show is open to Mustangs of any year, so this is the show for Mustang lovers. Stroll through the aisles while owners of Mustangs from 1963 to the present display their gleaming machines to fellow enthusiasts and their families. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it and cheer for your favorite car to win one of the best in class trophies or a special award.

    Woodbury Auto Show

If you like cars, you'll love the Woodbury Auto Show. Woodbury's annual event is a must-attend if you're in the area. The main street is blocked off and cars from 1890 to the present are invited to strut their struts and compete for more 40 trophies, plus special awards including Most Outrageous and Best of Show. Bring the family and stroll down memory lane while owners dazzle you with their decked out cars and gleaming engines. For a change of pace, visit the vendors and check out their auto-related merchandise -- a vendor requirement for this show. And don't worry about getting hungry, when your stomach starts to growl, head over to the food vendors for their tasty victuals. At this show, there's something for everyone.

Mt. Ephraim Craft, Auto and Motorcycle Show

If car shows are your passion, Mt. Ephraim, only six miles from Woodbury, hosts a gala annual outdoor craft, auto and motorcycle show. Food and craft vendors galore are there to ply you with their wares while you look over the cars and motorcycles. The show has nine classes of cars from 1932 to 1985 and above and seven classes of motorcycles that include bikes made before 1982, foreign and American, as well as bikes under 1000 cc's and bikes of any size, year, make or model divided into touring, sports and custom categories. Trophies are given for each class and registration is $10 before the show -- $15 the day of the show.

    Woodbury Cruise Nights

On the second Wednesday of each month, the Woodbury Merchant's and Professionals Association holds a cruise night at a scheduled place in town. Cruise nights run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are free to attend. Bring the family and set yourself up for a relaxing summer evening while the live music floats through the air and the smell of the food vendors' wares makes your mouth water. Enjoy the cars as they slowly meander through town. Woodbury's cruise nights have been known to attract 75 to 100 cars, and are truly a spectacle to behold.
