Boston's Long Harbor was originally built in the early 1700s, and today the waterfront location stands within close proximity of the city's business district and such attractions as Faneuil Hall and the Boston Aquarium. For visitors who want to stay near some of Boston's oldest structures, Long Harbor offers a handful of nearby options that each acknowledge the city's classic elegance.

Boston Marriott Long Wharf

The Boston Marriott Long Wharf is the only hotel located right on Long Wharf. The hotel features 397 guest rooms and 15 suites, all decorated in golds, creams and whites accented by bold reds. It is located within walking distance of Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and TD Banknorth Garden. Guests have access to an indoor fitness center and pool. Oceana seafood restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner in an upscale but relaxed environment.

Harborside Inn

The Harborside Inn is located less than a quarter mile off of Long Wharf. The hotel was mentioned in the Budget Travel article "The Secret Hotels of Boston." Writer Brad Tuttle explains, "You won't find a better-located hotel than the classy Harborside Inn," which is situated near the aquarium and Quincy Market. All the guest rooms are slightly different, with elegant Oriental rugs and classic furniture. Some rooms feature exposed brick walls for a truly Bostonian feel.

Marriott's Custom House

Also located less than a quarter mile from Long Wharf, Marriott's Custom House is an all-suite hotel featuring one-bedroom, one-bathroom suites that can accommodate four. The suites have separate living and dining spaces and include a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and dishes. The rooms are traditional in decor, with one king-size bed and a sofa bed.
