Popular for its clam chowder, glass floats washing up on its shores, open-air outlet mall and harbor seals playing in the waves, Lincoln City has lodging options in all parts of the coastal town. Beach lodging, on the other hand, is more limited. During the warm-weather seasons, beach lodging is a rare commodity if you do not have a room reserved.
Palace Inn & Suites
Located on coastal Highway 101 and near the beach, the Palace Inn & Suites is a Native American-inspired hotel. This establishment is hard to miss with the towering totem poles and European-style water fountain at its entrance. The lobby has a spa-inspired look with wood paneling along the front of the guest services desk, tiled pillars and bonsai adorning the front desk. The accommodations, however, look similar to those found in a quaint bed and breakfast, with pink, floral linens and Italian-style pink and white furnishings. Amenities vary by room and include balconies, in-room gas fireplaces, in-room spas and a small kitchenette.
Beachfront Manor Hotel
The Beachfront Manor Hotel is a boutique accommodation that peers out of Lincoln City’s sand dunes. This hotel is an Earth-friendly establishment and features furniture built in Oregon, water-efficient toilets and energy-efficient gas fireplaces. Accommodations include beachfront suites with private hot tubs, as well as “Ocean,” “Wave” and “Sea Breeze” rooms. The walls of the rooms are painted sea foam green and have designer glass tiles framing the fireplace, microwave, mini-refrigerator and unique plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms. Along with basic amenities, the Beachfront Manor Hotel offers shuttle services to and from the local casino.
Looking Glass Inn
Situated in the Taft area of southern Lincoln City, the Looking Glass Inn provides studio rooms and suites in a trendy, nautical setting. The decor is modern and simple, using bold colors such as orange, black and white in its furnishings and balancing them out with furniture pieces and linens that are shades of light brown. Amenities, which vary by room type, include a gas fireplace, DVD player, complimentary Wi-Fi, small kitchenette, in-suite breakfast bars and two-person Jacuzzi tubs. Dogs may accompany their owners in several of the rooms.
Inn at Spanish Head
With beachfront lodging and penthouse dining experiences, the Inn at Spanish Head is a popular Lincoln City establishment when it comes to luxury accommodations. Accommodations include guest rooms, studios, suites and condominiums, which use decorative elements inspired by the Oregon coast, such as ocean-themed paintings on the walls, starfish, seashells, sand-colored carpeting, arrangements made with flowers that grow well in the area, and a navy blue, yellow, white and tan color palette. Also included in the rooms are balconies, slate-lined walk-in showers, panoramic views of the beach and full-size kitchen or kitchenettes. Amenities include edible, in-room gifts such as chocolate-covered strawberries, an outdoor heated pool, an enclosed ocean-view spa and a sauna.
