Batting cages are a great place to get ready for your upcoming baseball season by keeping your hand-eye coordination sharp; if you're not preparing for a career with the Arizona Diamondbacks, though, you can still go to the cages with your friends and hit baseballs and softballs. There are many places Throughout Phoenix to try your hand at sending balls flying into the night sky.

Inside Pitch

A completely indoor facility, Inside Pitch (insidepitchaz.com) has camps and clinics for baseball and softball teams as well as individual players. Each cage has a machine that can also be set to throw curveballs or to simulate fast-pitch softball. In addition to daily rental fees, The Cages offers a monthly membership that allows players to come in for a half hour each day to work on hitting or pitching.

Fiddlesticks Family Fun Park

For those who aren't as serious about baseball but want a fun night out with the family that might include a session or two inside a batting cage, Fiddlesticks Family Fun Park (fiddlesticksaz.com) also features a driving range, a go-kart track, bumper boat pool, a video arcade and a pair of miniature golf courses.
