Bahamas luxury resorts and hotel bring thousands of vacationers every year who are looking to relax on a warm beach and find an escape from ever day life. Most luxury resorts and hotels in the chain of the Bahamian islands are all-inclusive, meaning guests do not have to go far to find food, recreational activities and spa treatments.

Bimini Bay Resort and Marina

Located on the island of Bimini, the Bimini Bay Resort and Marina offer its guest accommodations in the form of suites, tree houses and villas. Just 48 nautical miles from Florida, two full-service marinas and Bahamian-style buildings with pastel “beachy chick décor” provide a relaxing getaway for those seeking a weekend retreat or a longer stay with the kids. Accommodations include one to three rooms, tile and granite throughout, ocean views, coral and shell accents and a full kitchen. Amenities at the Bimini Bay Resort and Marina include an open-air shopping center, golf cart rentals, grocery store, tour arrangements, fishing, water sports, kid’s club, swimming with the dolphins, business facilities, lawn sports, full-service spa and sports courts.

Pink Sands Resort

Set on a 20-acre, three-mile pink sand beach, the Pink Sands Resort provides its guests with coral-colored cottages designed by Biba’s founder, Barbara Hulanicki. Set in the resort’s tropical gardens, the secluded cottages have a modern design with ocean or garden views, private patios with teak furniture, complimentary use of the resort’s MP3 player, bathroom products from Paris and a large closet. Amenities at the Pink Sands Resort include a library, sun beds, beach umbrellas, kayaks, snorkeling equipment, massage services and free Wi-Fi. Staff at the Pink Sands Resort can arrange for guests to participate in land or sea excursions such as bone or reef fishing, SCUBA diving, deep sea fishing, island excursions, picnics and boat rentals.

Sandals Royal Caribbean

With resorts in Nassau and Great Exuma, the Sandals Royal Caribbean is set in a former king of England’s estate that Windsor Dukes and Dutchesses frequented, formerly known as the Balmoral Club. This elegant resort kept true to its royal roots by keeping the Gregorian façade and Bahamian architecture, providing a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce and cottage-style suites in the secluded Royal Village. Accommodations range from Luxury to Butler rooms that come with four-poster mahogany beds, garden or ocean views, balconies, Caribbean or colonial-style furnishings and décor, rooms on the beach and private patios. Butler rooms provide guests with their own butler, 200-square-foot balconies, large soaking tubs, full-length mirrors and plantation-style décor. Activities at the Sandals Royal Caribbean include outdoor adventure tours, SCUBA diving, water sports, golf and evening entertainment in the form of cultural dances, casino games and nightclubs.

Pelican Bay

Located on Grand Bahama Island, Pelican Bay was awarded the “Small Treasure of the Bahamas” award by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. Providing guests with waterside accommodations on Lucaya Beach that range from deluxe rooms to one-bedroom suites, guests enjoy amenities such as waterfront rooms, a dining set, private balcony, art from Brazil, snack baskets, private library, kitchenette and bathroom with Mexican tiles and rain showerhead.
