It's a woman's last night of freedom. One more time to party with her closest friends before taking the big plunge. Yes, it's her bachelorette party. And for bachelorettes residing in or around south-central Indiana, the booming metropolis of Indianapolis is a place where one could take such festivities. The city offers a variety of clubs, bars and venues to cater to a group of fun-seeking women.
There are conventional bachelorette parties that involve a night of bar-hopping or clubbing. And then there are parties that feature a venue that's a bit out of ordinary. One such place in Indianapolis is Howl At The Moon, a dueling piano bar. Here bachelorette groups can enjoy their favorite songs, specialty drinks and a bachelorette roast courtesy of the pianists. Howl At The Moon also offers bachelorette party packages that include things such as complimentary admission, complimentary drinks and reserved seating.
For many, part of the fun of a bachelorette party is hitting different venues and dancing the night away with friends. Indianapolis has dozens of club venues that cater to this type of party. Clubs such as Subterra Lounge feature live music, a dance floor and VIP rooms for group parties. There also are contemporary venues such as Blu, which features VIP rooms, an outside patio and a mezzanine level.
Bachelorettes who aren't cut out for the clubbing of up-tempo venues might consider a more leisurely affair where conversation isn't drowned out by loud music. Those looking for a more relaxing night out on the town might consider visiting a wine bar. Indianapolis' Corner Wine Bar features a "wine cellar" private party area where guests can congregate and sample wines. Other area venues include Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar and New Day Meadery.
Getting Around Town
So you've got your bachelorette party game plan. Now you need a reliable, fun and safe way to get around town. If you want to keep the entire group together and enjoy some cocktails as you buzz from place to place, party-bus rental, such as that from Indianapolis Party Bus, is one option. The bus service features comfortable, spacious accommodations and operates seven days a week. Buses can accommodate as many as 36 passengers.
