Three Rivers Museum
The Three Rivers Museum is just the place to immerse yourself in Oklahoma history. You'll learn about Muskogee's electric arch that debuted in 1910, Muskogee's jazz era of the early 1900s, the "Great Fire" of 1899 and the families of Indian territory of which Muskogee was a part. The museum also offers historic caravan and walking tours of Muskogee's oldest cemetery and other noteworthy Muskogee landmarks.
River Country Family Water Park
River Country Family Water Park offers an interactive water playground for small children, a sand playground for older children, a large pool for swimming, body slides that twist and turn, volleyball and an entire array of activities for family fun.
Five Civilized Tribes Museum
The Five Civilized Tribes Museum features the history, culture and art of the Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Cherokee and Seminole Indian tribes. You'll witness authentic Indian music and dance performances, view Indian art and engage in a variety of Indian cultural activities that center around the Three Rivers region that includes the Arkansas, Grand and Verdigris rivers.
Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame & Museum
Muskogee has a rich musical heritage that put Oklahoma on the map when country western singer Merle Haggard recorded his song, "Okie from Muskogee" in the 1950s. Inductees to the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame include Merle Haggard, the Texas Playboys, Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood and many others. Take a tour through the museum and soak up some of the local music culture.
Outlaw Motor Speedway
Outlaw Motor Speedway features stock car racing at its best and is the first NASCAR-sanctioned race track in Oklahoma. It offers pure stock, factory stock, modified, demolition and Grand National stock car racing. It is also the home of the Oklahoma Racing Hall of Fame.
