Attractions in Grove City, PA

Grove City, Pennsylvania is snuggled approximately 50 miles north of Pittsburgh; the borough has about 7,000 residents. It offers activities including golf, outlet shopping and visiting historic homes.


Grove City offers opportunities for shopping at outlet stores or small shops in the borough's main area. Grove City Premium Outlets is an outlet mall with more than 130 shops. Visitors can also browse Grove City's Olde Towne area for art, antiques and other items.

Parks and Recreation

Grove City's Memorial Park is on West Main Street near downtown. Memorial Park has a duck pond, a swimming pool, basketball courts and playground. Surrounding the town are golf courses, including Grove City Country Club, Pine Grove Public Golf Center and Willow Hills Golf Center.

Historical Sites

Visit Grove City's historic homes for a look at what life was like in the 1800s. The Historical Society offers a tour of the oldest homes in the area, dating back to the home built by Grove City's first postmaster in 1840. The tour includes information on the people who owned and built the homes originally, as well as anyone who lives there now. Grove City also has other buildings from the 1800s that include bottling plants, a school and an old post office.

Grove City College

Grove City College is a private Christian school in the borough of Grove City. The college has many athletic teams, including baseball and basketball, so visitors and locals are welcome to purchase tickets and attend games.
