The small town is part of the Texarkana metropolitan area and sits near the Texas-Arkansas boarder. Both children and adults can enjoy the cultural and fun activities that the area has to offer.
Sulphur Point (sulphurpoint.com) offers camping and fishing opportunities to residents and visitors to the area. The site is open all year, and 14 spaces are available for RVs. Activities in the park include hiking, picnicking and horseback riding. Wright Patman Lake at Sulphur Point offers visitors an opportunity to swim, boat and fish. Fishing tournaments also take place on the campgrounds.
Tex-Ark Antique Auto Museum
Tex-Ark Antique Auto Museum (texarkaam.org) is located about 20 minutes from Fouke and features a variety of automotive attractions for visitors. Vehicles at the museum are from the early 20th century, and visitors can purchase hats, pins, shirts and other memorabilia from the gift shop. Car shows also take place at the museum, and local residents can show off their vehicles.
Residents in Fouke can drive to Bowl Texarkana (bowltexarkana.com) in about 20 minutes. The venue offers open bowling, leagues, tournaments and private parties. While bumpers are available for younger bowlers, special events at the location include Rock N Bowl, which features glow-in-the-dark bowling. A snack bar and full bar are available. Party packages are available for two hours of bowling and include pizza, lights and music.
The Perot Theatre (trahc.org) is about 15 minutes from Fouke. It opened its doors in 1924 and was fully restored in 1980. In addition to offering a number of shows to local audiences, the theater also plays host to the Perot Theatre Series. Shows at the theater include musical acts, children's shows, ballets, plays, musical theater and holiday events.
