Aloft Portland

Aloft Portland is located 2 1/2 miles from the airport, but it is not your typical airport hotel. The sleek, modern style of the hotel takes travelers worlds away from crowded airplanes and airports and transports them to a cocoon of Ikea-chic comfort. The rooms are simple, with large windows and 9-foot ceilings. Guests may choose between two queen beds or one king bed, made up with crisp white linens. Aloft's lobby features a floating fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. An indoor pool, quick snack bar and fitness center round out the hotel's amenities. An airport shuttle makes it easy for travelers to get to and from their flights.

Hampton Inn Portland-Airport

Hampton Inn has made a name for itself as a quality budget chain with comfortable accommodations, and the Portland-Airport location is no exception. The clean, contemporary rooms feature the cushy Hampton pillow-top mattresses, made exclusively for Hampton Inn by Serta. Guests can take advantage of the complimentary hot breakfast, fitness center and indoor pool. For guests who have a flight to catch, Hampton Inn offers "On the Run" breakfast bags. A complimentary shuttle makes airport transfers simple.

Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel

The Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel underwent an $8 million renovation in 2008, and the result is a classic hotel with a contemporary ambiance. The 213 guest rooms are decorated with warm earth tones to reflect the Northwest's landscape. A whirlpool and heated indoor pool accompany a 24-hour fitness facility. The Columbia Grill and Bar serves dinner and drinks, and round-the-clock room service is available. The Sheraton also offers guests complimentary airport transportation upon request to the concierge.

Embassy Suites Portland-Airport

There are 251 two-room suites at the Embassy Suites Portland-Airport, each of which includes separate living and sleeping areas. The living area features a microwave, small refrigerator, couch, armchair and table, while the sleeping area contains either two queen-size beds or one king-size bed. Each morning, the hotel hosts a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast for guests. For lunch and dinner, guests may dine at Water's Grille, located in the hotel's open-air atrium. A fitness center and pool are available for recreation, and a business center helps busy professionals keep in touch while on the road.
